Présentation
"Hugh Masekela (né à Johannesbourg le 4 avril 1939) est un trompettiste, bugliste et cornettiste de jazz sud-africain. En 1961, il est contraint de s'exiler aux États-Unis à la suite de la lutte anti apartheid; il y est traité en ami par Harry Belafonte.
Il joue dans des orchestres de jazz invité sur des albums des Byrds et de Paul Simon. En 1987, "Bring Him Back Home" devient l'hymne du mouvement pour la libération de Nelson Mandela. À la fin de l'apartheid, Masekela retourne en Afrique du Sud où il vit actuellement."

Je confirme "Stimela" (titre B3) est SUPERBE et c'est ce titre qui m'avait décidée pour l'achat de l'album découvert à l'époque via feu Soulbugalu.funkiness a écrit :ce disque de Masekela est 100% dans l'esprit du forum (ah "Stimela !! )
