Je n’avais pas du sortir ce disque depuis 2 ou 3 ans et bien m’en a pris, j’ai vraiment apprécié!
Pour les amateurs de jazz et particulièrement de chorus époumonés de saxophone ; instrument à l’honneur sur ce disque.

A Ballad For The Times est un grand morceau amha, progressant intelligemment et fort émotionnellement.
Perihelion (dont la définition donne mal à la tête
) où Sonny Fortune se fait remarquer en employant la flûte et où piano et basse apportent beaucoup, est un morceau smooth de belle facture.
The Blues Are Green et Samba Touch dans deux registres différents, ne sont pas indispensables tout en étant très bien exécutés, et Make Up clôt l’album en beauté avec un jazz-funk headhunterien de derrière les fagots.
