J'ai avais trouvé un nouveau titre sur la toile "Precious Wing" aussi précieux que "Who", où le minimalisme peut avoir aussi ses charmes !

"Who" est juste magnifique, ça fait un moment que j'ai repéré cet album que je ne posséde toujours pas ... un de plus. Je ne l'ai vu qu'une fois tourné sur ebay et la je suis archi concentré sur les compils en LP notamment je me rattrape au niveau Disco. Tout ça c'est de votre faute

Oublie l'original, il n'y aurait que 500 exemplaires, alors...

499 Exactement puisqu'il y a un exemplaire (que j'ai eu la chance de trouver scellé au Japon!) sur l'étagère juste derrière moi

Tu es sûr qu'il n'y a que 500 exemplaires? Ok il n'est pas donné mais ne pas pas non plus à des sommes astronomiques il me semble, entre 150 USD et 200 USD qui est bien sûr une très grosse somme mais c'est loin de Jujus and Sarah Webster Fabio, à moins que cet album n'ait été tiré qu'à 50 exemplaires!

Je me suis emmêlé les pinceaux, c'est le Hot Chocolate qui aurait été tiré à 500 exemplaires.

Remarque le Hot Chocolate part pour 3 à 4 fois le prix du Montgomery !
Finalement 500 exemplaires ça parait beaucoup mais à l'échelle de la planète, c'est peu ! C'est peut-être aussi le cas pour celui-ci.

by the way... the original 1st pressing was released 1973 on label "Dove-LP1000" - from Orlando Florida, with a different cover. The only copy i've ever seen to be sold was in 2003, unfortunatley i didn't get hold of it back then.

Never realized it was the second press. Went to check your book, there is a photo of the 1st pressing. It is a white cover with the title and the name of the group written in black for our Funk-o-logists friends information. Could not find a photo of it on the net. I could scan your book but I am not sure you would like it! You rate it as a E price which is a maximum if I am not mistaken and the japanese book Rare Groove A to Z rate it as well at a maximum price which is not suprising given that you have seen it only once and as far as I am concerned, never... I wonder how much it sold when you saw it.

No problem if you upload a scan. When i remember it i will post the picture later on. The rarity rating was set to E in 2005 because it sold between 300-400$ and I was not yet sure how many of it would be around. meanwhile I would rate it as a G (on my scale of A-H) because it never turned up again. The rarity is most likely higher than the price it would gain, if it would be sold again, because for the most collectors the other release is an acceptable alternative and therefore the most wouldn't pay 1000$ or so, only for having the 1st pressing. But that's only an assumption.
