Après les opus de Morricone et Goblin consacré à Dario Argento, voici un autre fameux soundtrack dédié au grand maître du cinéma horrifique transalpin.
Sorti chez Cinevox en 1980, cette B.O. diablement progressive a été composé et interprété par Keith Emerson, l'organiste du groupe ELP.

Oui c'est bien lui. Il a composé 3 B.O. italiennes : La Chiesa, Murderock et Inferno.
A noter que ce second volet de "la trilogie des 3 Mères" (Mater Suspiriarum pour Fribourg, Mater Lacrimarum pour Rome et Mater Tenebrarum pour New York) fait suite à Suspiria (composé par Goblin), soundtrack déjà évoqué sur ce forum.
