Les 2 morceaux ci dessous sont vraiment excellents. La flûte présente sur Time To Smile ravira les amateurs de la bête... Le morceau est parfait de bout en bout un vrai régal, le petit solo de rhodes est parfait... Et OD est pas mal dans le genre un groove bien joyeux à la trompette et au sax.
Le batteur tricote carrément bien...
Voici ce qu'en dit Dustygroove, les seules infos que l'on peut trouver sur cet album sur le net:" A very very cool record – an unusual take on the music to The Connection – that hip early 60s play that featured a more famous version of the soundtrack on Blue Note Records! This version's much more obscure – part of a "localization" that occurred when the play would travel from town to town – and it features a Detroit-based recording, headed by keyboardist Johnny Griffith – who also recorded famously for Motown and RCA! Griffith's playing electric piano here, which really changes the vibe of the music – and the players are supposedly a host of Motown studio musicians – playing jazz here, but with a nice funky soul undercurrent. The group has two guitars, which really kicks in nicely with the rhythms under the horns – and titles include "Wigglin'", "Music Forever", "Time To Smile", "O.D. (Overdose)", "Jim Dunn's Dilemma", and "Who Killed Cock Robin?".
Peut être que Foxy en sait plus... Je ne sais pas quel type de film c'est...
Un album bien chaud à gauler (on le voit plutôt rarement) et qui n'est pas donné malheureusement. Désolé Jean de finir par là! Mais je viens de voir qu'il est réédité par des japonais.
