Just letting you know that my book All Platinum - The Making Of A Sound will be available for shipping from November 27th.
This is a very in depth look at Sylvia & Joe Robinson's record labels and the artists who recorded for All Platinum companies, covering the years 1967-1979. The account takes us from 1967 and the label start up in a basement in Englewood right through to the last release - Positive Force's classic "We Got The Funk".
The book is A4 sized, 534 pages, and printed in colour. It weights about 1.75 kg. Included in the book there is also the most comprehensive discography of all records put out by All Platinum in these years and some planned releases, as well as the records the company distributed for other record companies.
