It’s been a few years since we’ve heard from the UK’s The Getup but they’re always on our radar and we keep our ears open to what’s new and refreshing by them. Coming off of their last outing and 2018’s full length Take The Cake LP, the Hammond Funk heavyweights are back with a raw and scorching 7″ double-sider that’s ripe for the dance floor with maximum replay value.

“Spark” b/w “The Big Noise” is exactly what we’d expect from The Getup who obviously are no joke when it comes to the grooving sounds of the Hammond but nasty on the drums to tie it all together. This time around they’ve recorded this tasty treat on Burning Sole Records out of Basel Switzerland and it’s a perfect match.
