On peut retrouver ce groupe néerlandais, composé de musiciens originaires du Surinam et de Trinidade, sur la compile West Indies Volume 1 (TRANS AIR RECORDS, 2011) : "Funky Stuff" (titre B3) et "Down By The River" (titre A1) y figurent.
Je ne connais pas le groupe mais je pensais qu'un sujet avait été fait par Jean mais j'ai confondu avec un autre groupe qui utilise le Steel Band.
Dutch Rhythm Steel & Showband porte aussi le nom de Trinidad Oil Company.
Certaines reprises comme "Funky Stuff", "Hey Joe", "Feelin' Alright" valent le détour auditif, parfum léger des îles, steel band pas trop omniprésent, donc l'écoute n'est pas une "souffrance" pour mes sens.
Présentation ultra rapide car tombée sur le band en recherchant autre chose et hommage aux îliens.
