Le nom des musiciens ne figure pas, j'ai donc repris ceux qui apparaissaient sur le premier album Mandrill – S/T (Polydor 24-4050, 1971), les 7 que l'on retrouve en dessin sur la cover intérieure du LP (gatefold) et au dos du CD (voir ci-après).
L'album existe en format CD.

Impressions
"Ape Is High" (A1) et "Git It All" (A3) sont les deux tueries dance floor avec secouage des têtes. "Cohelo" (A2) est un transport latin. Retour au calme avec le magnifique "Children Of The Sun" (A4) et "I Refuse To Smile" (A5) embarque aussi.
Une face B toute spatiale, un vrai conte auditif, musical. Sonorités variées marque déposée de Mandrill pour un voyage interracial et musical. Le flutesque et percutant "Kofijahm" (B4) ne laisse pas indifférent tout comme "Universal Rhythms" (B1) avec cette voix enfantine qui ne peut que toucher. Guitare Rock sur "Here Today Gone Tomorrow" (B5) avec ce déroulement de la batterie que j'affectionne tant. "The Sun Must Go Down" (B6) clôture l'album et ce titre m'accroche bien, tous les ingrédients y figurent : chœurs, percu, guitare, cuivres, batterie... et cassures rythmiques.
Peut être que cet opus pourra être, pour certains, encore trop Rock mais c'est du Mandrill et je trouve la face B très Rock prog. après on aime ou on aime pas, c'est selon chacun(e).
RevPop devrait trouver son bonheur.
