Description de la merveille qui aurait dû être un triple LP!!!!!!!!
JB collectors, FASTEN YOUR SEATBELTS! An ultra rare 1971 yellow label test pressing of disc 1 from the multi-record set, JAMES BROWN - LOVE, POWER, PEACE - LIVE IN PARIS which was to have been released as King LP 1137 but was cancelled. Recorded at the Olympia in Paris, March, 1971, during the same concerts as the oft bootlegged video (which was from a different show), none of this music was officially issued until a single CD in the 1990's.....some of which compiles different performances than this record. The hand writing on the labels call it "1st Mix". This disc comprises Sides 1 & 6 of the 3 record set. Song titles on side 1: "Introduction", "Brother Rapp", "Ain't It Funky Now" and "Georgia". Side 6 offers bombastic, Bootsy Collins driven versions of "Super Bad", "Get Involved" and "Soul Power". Understand......this album was never pressed. All that ever existed on vinyl were a handful of rare test pressings, of which this is one. The record is in handsome VG+ condition
