Je me torture moi-même car je ne les ai pas encore et mon cœur balance entre le format LP et CD. Car je trouve le visuel terrible, de plus la version LP, n'est pas, ce qui est rare, très chère en comparaison du format CD. Mais le CD est pratique et s'écoute en voiture... dilemme.

Moi je les avais pris en CD. Si on veut du vinyle, mieux vaut acheter alors les originaux, pas tous si rares.

J'ai opté pour le format LP, c'est à cause du visuel, mais le paquet est je ne sais où... je patiente encore un peu...

Persuadée que j'avais présenté cette compile, au moins ce premier volume.
Mais je pense, que l'on avait dû en parler avec Hermès quelque part sur le forum / à la déferlante de compiles attractives.
Et en plus une SUPERBE POCHETTE !!!!!
Ce premier volume est excellent, les trois sont à se procurer pour les mordus(es) du genre !
Des souffles cuivrés, de l'orgue vibrant à donner la chair de poule, du son dégoulinant 70's et une envie de s'y plonger à jamais.
QUEL PLAISIR QUE LA MUSIQUE, CETTE MUSIQUE !
Une pensée pour à Megan MARKLE - label anglais oblige BGP - : du Gospel dans un mariage princier, une mère avec des dreadlocks et percing au nez... Je dis OUI ! SO FUNKY cet événement et pense à tous ces artistes JB, PRINCE, MJ...

Passons à la musique et BONNE ÉCOUTE, du balancement assuré, du chaloupé chaud non censuré...

Titre N°1 : La version live de "Use Me" par Isaac Hayes est tout simplement superbe, sensuelle, jouissive et ses pointes de cuivres qui m’enivrent les sens. Son grain vocal n'est pas trop dans les notes basses et juste à la limite de ce que j'apprécie.

Titre N°7 : Jacqueline Jones – One Monkey Can't Stop The Show : écoutez le son des cuivres...

Titre N°9 : Ripple - "I Don't Know What It Is But It Sure Is Funky", un classique mais alors c'est un PIED TOTAL que ce morceau, plus rien existe à part ce groove, ce lead au timbre puissant et les chœurs avec qui on fredonne (en moins bien en ce qui me concerne, c'est certain... la pluie n'est pas encore tombée, donc ça va).
Ce titre est présent sur l'album éponyme présenté sur le forum par ITJG : Ripple – S/T (GRC GA 5005, 1973)
